Find the right talent for a hard-to-fill role in 14 days
A well-respected Queensland nonprofit posted an ad on SEEK. The job was offering a good salary, location and flexible working.
After nearly a month in market, they were struggling to find the right person for this business-critical role.
It was an unusual role, but not 'unicorn' unusual.
Using our marketing-led approach, Heart Talent reached more than 90 interested people in less than a week.
After 14 days, both employer and job seeker had found their perfect match.
How did we do it?
The campaign leveraged:
multiple channels (not just job boards)
an extensive talent network
a marketing skillset
an attraction mindset.
Recruitment is marketing. Marketing is about putting the customer at the centre.
Our approach was about understanding the organisation’s unique value proposition as well as what was special about this role, and leveraging this heavily in our recruitment content.
Of course that’s only step 1: attraction.
Next comes engagement. Candidate experience. Transparent, honest communication. A mindset that says: 'talent are the consumer, our job is to sell the job to them'.
All of this before reviewing CVs, assessing suitability and running interviews.
Recruitment is a marketing challenge.
